Tokey Beach is the prime location for any tourist resort development not only in Sierra Leone, but also in the whole West African coast line. Some even named it the best beach in the world.

Our property at Tokey Beach is already well known to all members of the European tourist industry as well as to the west European public and others elsewhere around the world.

In recent years, with the help of the UN, the UK and the USA, thank God Sierra Leone is back on track with a popular democratically elected President and Parliament. That has been the case since the end of the civil war almost 8 years ago.

Tokey, naturally, was effected by the Civil unrest and was systematically vandalized and looted. Maybe that is good, in a way, an opportunity for it to be rebuilt again in a more orderly fashion and better standards making better use of the vast beach lands that formerly constituted the “Tokey Resorts Complex" (Refer to "General Master Plan").

On the promotional aspect prior to the civil war in Sierra Leone, hundreds of thousands of US dollars was spent on documentaries, publications, and articles in dozens of top European magazines, TV programs, and other miscellaneous advertising campaigns. Hundreds of European tour operators, journalists, diplomats and politicians were invited to Sierra Leone as our guests to the Tokey Resorts.

This exposure benefited the Sierra Leone government and the country as a whole. It made Sierra Leone and Tokey Resorts Internationally renown, as an especially desirous Exotic tourist destination.

This is the valued asset of the Tokey Resorts. A would be developer is privileged, enriched and capitalized not only by the much admired talcum white sands of Tokey Beach but with the distinguished and exotic reputation of the old Africana Tokey Village and its sister Tokey Villas Privilege. Consequently, any new development will easily market itself with the least of expense and efforts.

There is now a rush of activities in tourism revival, but so far only in smaller scale dvevelopments mushrooming along the Freetown pennisular.

Presently we are regularly recieving enquieries and demands from our former European tour operators to re-develop the Tokey Beach Resorts.

The road from Freetown to Tokey and around the Peninsular to Waterloo Town is now first class doublelane tarred road.
